AK Villa 22
"AK Villa 22" is a landmark villa in Akumal and one of the largest villas with over 4,000 square feet of living space. It is located on Yalku lagoon which is like an enormous outdoor aquarium - GORGEOUS view! You can jump right into the lagoon from your back yard. There is also a private beach area to get that suntan you just have to take home with you! There is also a fabulous waterfront swimming pool.
The villa has a huge living room/dining room area with a cathedral ceiling and an adjoining fully equipped, industrial sized kitchen. This combined living/ dining rooms provide enough table seating for up to 14 people. "AK Villa 22" caretaker is a superb cook and can provide breakfast and dinner for up to 14 people for an additional fee. There are two outdoor palapas, a large one for entertaining with a wet bar, tables and chairs - the other is on the lagoon with lounge chairs and hammocks.
"AK Villa 22" has three air conditioned bedrooms with LOTS of beds and three bathrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs with a view of the lagoon, a king-size bed and a huge private outdoor sun deck. The two downstairs guest rooms both have king sized beds and have lofts for children containing 2x twin beds. Extra sleeping arrangements include a double sofa bed in one downstairs bedroom, a single day bed in another and a double day bed in the tower room. The new children's room is downstairs and has a double bed. The bathrooms are all enormous and offer a lot of privacy.
Maid service is provided six days per week and the caretakers can cook meals for you in the villa if you would like for an extra charge. The local laundry in Akumal can provide same day service. There is also an incredible tower on the third floor with a 365 degree view of the lagoon, jungle and ocean. It's equipped with a day bed for sleeping.
